अये दिल है आसान यहां,

Dear Mumbai(Bombay),

For the first time since I have been here, I find myself thinking of you. As I sit here in this warm sand watching this beautiful sunset, I can only close my eyes and just imagine how gorgeous you must be looking now because it's been a six months since we met before lockdown right?

Mumbai is an “album” for me. In which I have passed my carefree childhood life,my innocence, my school, childhood best friends, first heartbreak, some unforgettable picnics and those train incidents, some mess, those family get together, those pujas, incredible festivals and lovely neighbors and obviously that food how could I forget that?

You have taught me how important it is to leave the comfort of the things which you dearly love. You have taught me every life lesson so well that I stand strong in every situation. Trust me, I love myself almost as much as I love you.

I miss you, Bombay ..because, where will I find the Shivaji park to play cricket the place where people’s dream comes true, where will I find those rickshaws, trains, bus, where will I find that vada pav which always ready for a hungry stomach, where will I find the celebration of festivals that crowd of Ganesh Chaturthi which seen in Lower-Parel, Girgaon, where will I find peaceful places like marine drive, Juhu, Where will I find my first school,my college that friendzone, where will I find those places where I spent my time with my closed ones who always somehow try to encourage me. I know I am forgetting a lot of things but I remember everything,

Mumbai.

I miss my friends, I miss the food, I miss those “khatarnak suraj  ki dhoop and kadake ki thandi “.

My city, I am so mad at you that I left without saying goodbye. But on some nights, when the sky suddenly turns red and cold winds aise storms with dust on the streets, I will close my eyes and find myself amidst the flowers on my balcony in my hometown, running to those childhood streets carefree, I love you, Mumbai meri Jaan.
